We love providing a variety of apparatus and training options for our students. We utilize our workshops to showcase disciplines and apparatuses that you don’t normally see in our regular classes. Past workshops have included Burlesque, Lyrical Dance, Doubles Lyra, Flow Arts, Chair, and more!
Workshops are a great way to expand your horizons and try something new. In addition to exploration, here are a few reasons to try a workshop:
New Movement Pathways & Creativity: Trying dance or a new discipline introduces unique transitions and dynamic movement concepts that can be incorporated into your practice on familiar apparatuses and incorporated into routines for fresh, creative sequences.
Time-Efficient Exploration: Workshops provide an effective way to try out a new apparatus or technique. Workshops are typically designed to deliver key concepts and skills in a short, structured timeframe, often a few hours to a few days. Instead of committing to weeks or months of classes, you get high-impact training in a condensed format.
Increased Body Awareness & Coordination: Different movement styles help aerialists develop a deeper understanding of how their body moves, improving control, efficiency, and technique. Training in different disciplines can improve range of motion, active flexibility, and overall strength, making aerial skills easier and safer.
Hosting workshops are one of our favorite things we get to do because of the awesome ideas that our coaches come up with for our students to explore. Be sure to check out our upcoming workshops:
